Once again…This series of posts will develop the oh so interesting “Not To Do” list and it’s dedicated to all of those resumes I’ve received, candidates I’ve met or interviews that I’ve been a part of throughout the years that have made recruiting just a bit more interesting.
This is “Not To Do” #2…and it’s been seen over and over and over again.
I’m not knocking receptionist. Just saying be specific…what is it about the receptionist job that you think you would be good at or interests you. (e.g. “I would like to obtain a position as receptionist using my years of customer service experience to greet each client with professionalism.”) At least this tells me right away that you have customer service experience…now I’ll keep reading at least until the next section.
